Starr is still working as chair of Healthcare Realty Management, and told an interviewer in
Biography, "I'm very happy where I am." He is still deeply honored by the recognition he receives from fans, especially when those fans are so young that they weren't even alive during his heyday. In addition to working for Healthcare Realty, Starr devotes much of his time to charitable and nonprofit organizations, and is also a motivational speaker.
