Indian cricket player
The "Super Natural," the "Willow Prince," "the King," and even "a god" are terms that have been used to describe Indian cricket batsman Sachin Tendulkar, yet he refers to himself as a normal person who is satisfied with being counted among the best batsmen in the world. A young prodigy, Tendulkar began playing cricket as a toddler and at age sixteen was selected to play on India's national team. In 2001 he became the first batsman to score a total of 10,000 runs in one-day cricket. He is an idol in his native India, where he lives humbly even though his salary and product endorsements have made him the world's wealthiest cricket player. Still at the top of his game in 2003, Tendulkar is sometimes compared to the great West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards and to Australian cricket legend Don Bradman, who died in 2001 at age 92.

hello, We can call an english batsman sir, we can give this title to an australian batsman but how can we forget about our hero, idiol, smile of INDIA 'SIR SACHIN TENDULKAR' he is a great not because of his game but because of the way he carries him self on and off the field. He gives hopes to million people, emmotions of people are affected by him. In a country like india only we can critisize such a great human being. But before we critize him we should see what we have done, how many people get smile because os us, how many people will remember us when we would be no more ... just few thoughts to ponder :)

I LOVE SACHIN TENDULKAR VERY VERY VERY MUCH .HE IS THE NATIONS PRIDE & EVERYTHING.HE IS VERY VERY VERY VERY CUTE.PEOPLE WHO CRITISISE HIM,THEY DOESN'T KNOW CRICKET & ARE MAD. : “Sachin (Tendulkar) is the heartbeat of our nation. The country breathes every time he goes out to play and when he is out, the country stops breathing.” Sachin HAD NEVER complain about anything written against him. He takes everything written about him in his stride – be it good or bad. He allows nothing to affect him. When he was still in the prime of his youth, he understood his social responsibility and said no to endorsing cigarettes, alcohol and pan masala when others of his age were making ‘style statements’ doing exactly the opposite..There is unanimity that fame and success have not changed him one bit. "Barely two hours after landing in Johannesburg on the 1992-93 tour to South Africa, the team was to visit Tolstoy Farm, Mahatma Gandhi’s first Satyagrahi Commune founded in 1910. It was situated 35 kms from Jo’burg and most of the Indian players showed little interest, longing to rest in the hotel after the long flight. But Tendulkar, still a teenager, looked keen and hungry to learn more about Gandhi. His volley of questions to the guide reflected his national pride.” dated forever
