British soccer player
David Beckham is more than one of England's best soccer player. He is a celebrity, treated as near-royalty, hounded by the press who dwell on his every move. During his career as a member of the Manchester United, and also playing for the England in the World Cup, Beckham has been both villain and hero. Lauded, vilified, bemoaned, worshipped, and ridiculed–few professional players of any sport have undergone the constant barrage of attention on and off the field as Beckham. Handsome, with a quick eye to where the cameras are placed, he has both benefited and suffered from a life lived in the public arena.

U r like my lifetime hero! i'm a soccer player 2 and i'm 13. i hope 2 b as good as u 1 day. i look up 2 u in so many ways. u rele keep me going wen i'm thinking i cant play well anymore. i just look up 2 u and think if i wana b as good as u i gota keep going. i'm trying 2 make my moves like urs because ur so awesome and the most amazing role model ever (even for a grl like me :) ) thanx so much! ur da best!!!
